LOS ANGELES, CA - (March 26, 2007) – Bench Warmer Trading cards, (www.benchwarmer.com) the nation’s only manufacturer and distributor of collectible trading cards featuring beautiful women in sports garb or themed attire, recently released it’s rarest subset of cards to date - Bettie Page Insert Cards.
Upon reviewing the Bench Warmer / Bettie Page concept cards, the original pin-up girl herself agreed to be part of the card set. Page selected her photos of choice, Bench Warmer selected three of her most famous poses for the autographed insert cards, and Page went on to personally sign and authenticate 100 numbered Bettie Page trading cards.
The extremely rare nature of the illusive Page card, one in every 3000 card packs, has fueled the avid collector to seek out the autographed Page cards on eBay, -- a single Bettie Page card recently sold on eBay for $800.00!
In addition, to the exclusive, autographed Bettie Page cards, Bench Warmer has also created an eight card special black and white foil insert set whereby one of these Bettie Page cards can be found in every 24 packs, or one per 24-pack display box, retailing for $59.95.
